ACHIVEMENTS

Dr Ganesh Shenoy and Dr Marina Thomas were invited as faculty during the “Live Laparoscopic Workshop in Ventral and Inguinal hernia” organized by ASI Hubli/ Dharwad Chapter at KMCRI-Hubli on 21st Feb 2025. Along with Dr Marina Thomas, Dr Ganesh demonstrated 5 cases of basic and advanced laparo-endoscopic hernia repairs for inguinal and ventral hernias. Dr Shenoy was felicitated for his contribution to training and in the field of herniology.
Dr Shenoy was invited as a faculty for the International Conference AWR Deep Impact – Chennai. March 6th -9th 2025. An. He delivered lectures on Why eTEP? in the pre congress course and Management of Giant Inguino-scrotal Hernias in the Main conference.
Dr Ganesh Shenoy was the invited faculty by ASI Karnataka for the first online webinar- “Surgical Times “on March 27th, 2025. He delivered video lectures on Laparoscopic Resections of Left sided Colon cancer and Giant Ventral Hernia – ETEP approach.
Dr Shenoy and Dr Amol.S. Jeur were invited as faculty for “Midterm HSICON 2025” organized by AMU-Aligarh on April 25th -26th 2025. Dr Shenoy moderated Panel discussion on ETEP-RS, demonstrated Laparoscopic ETEP-RS for complex incisional hernia and Laparoscopic IPOM plus for epigastric hernia along with Dr Amol during the live operative workshop. Dr Amol delivered video lecture on Robotic ETEP-RS for Suprapubic Incisional hernia.
Dr Ganesh was the invited faculty during the FALS -Hernia course of IAGES, held at GSVM medical college, Kanpur on April 11th -13th 2025. He demonstrated Laparoscopic ETEP-RS for complex incisional hernia during the live operative workshop and delivered lecture on Subcostal, Epigastric and Suprapubic hernia – Problems and Solutions.
Dr Shenoy was the invited faculty for the 3rd time during the RAJ Hernia Solutions -4 by Rajasthan Hernia Society, Jaipur on 8th June 2025. He presented a virtual live video session – ETEP-RS for Ventral hernia and was a part of debate IPOM plus vs ETEP-RS for small midline ventral hernia. He was also a panelist for Panel discussion on “Complications of ventral hernia”
Dr Ganesh Shenoy was the invited faculty for Hernia Essentials program of Asia Pacific hernia society organized by Vishesh Jupiter Hospitals, Indore on 4th -5th July 2025. He delivered lectures on TEP for inguinal hernia, Laparoscopic Ventral hernia repair and on Radiology in abdominal wall hernia, demonstrated Laparoscopic Bilateral TAPP Mesh Repair and Laparoscopic IPOM plus repair during the live operative workshop.
Dr Ganesh delivered an online video lecture on “Laparoscopic Posterior Mesh and Sutured Rectopexy on 19th July 2025 during the ALS-GBI / IAGES collaborate program.
Dr Shenoy was the invited faculty during the Laparosocpic Hernia skills course of IAGES, organized by Shri Shankaracharya Medical College, Bhilai, Chattisgarh on 26th -27th July 2025. He delivered lecture on Nuances of cross over in ETEP approach for ventral hernias and demonstrated Laparoscopic ETEP RS for complex incisional hernia during the live operative workshop.
Dr Ganesh and Dr Marina were the invited faculty during “Live workshop on upper GI diseases” organized by Pune Surgical Society at YCM Hospital, Pune on 23rd August 2025. Dr Shenoy demonstrated 2 cases of Laparoscopic Nissen’s Fundoplication along with Dr Marina Thomas during the Live operative workshop.
Dr Shenoy was invited faculty during the FALS -Hernia course of the IAGES organised at Belle Vue Clinic, Kolkatta on August 8th -10th 2025. He demonstrated Bilateral ETEP mesh repair for Bilateral inguinal hernia during the live operative workshop.

Dr Ganesh was a faculty for pre-congress Hiatus Hernia workshop and delivered video lecture on Revisional hiatus hernia surgery. He also was a part of debate “ ETEP for primary ventral hernia – Too much for too little. Dr Amol delivered video lecture on Robotic Subcostal and Sub-xiphoid anatomy in Recurrent multiple abdominal border hernias. Dr Ganesh Shenoy also received centre of excellence in hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction” award during the congress along with Dr Vijay Bhaskaran, ED of Kauvery hospital on 19th Sep 2025. Dr Shenoy won the first prize in the hernia quiz.
